The goal of the “ize” projects including “XPize” and “Vize” for Windows XP and Vista respectively is to ensure consistent looking operating system by addressing all the UI quirks Microsoft didn’t. The screenshot above is just a sample of some of the graphics resource replacements XPize 5 implements. xpize 5 supports Windows XP x64 and Windows Server 2003 x64 (in addition to 32-bit Windows XP and Server 2003) with full feature parity accross all platforms. xpize 5 is designed for (and will only install on) 32-bit Service Pack 3 (or 64-bit Service Pack 2). XPize is built with Anolis, it actually allows anyone to easily put together a resource-replacement package that can be safely installed on any version of Windows, 64-bit included. David’s already began working on “Sevenize” for Windows 7.
