And Chrome OS is really just an OS that is built to run a browser and what amounts to Google Gears - both tasks that Android can do handily right now. And Android can obvioulsy run on netbooks happily, as the recent abundance of netbook manufacturers putting it on them can attest to...

Chrome isn&#039;t really needed - perhaps Google would have been better served keeping it&#039;s code base unified and simply adapting it.</description>
