The latest version of Microsoft’s Flash competitor dubbed as Silverlight 3 is now available. Silverlight 3 includes a number of new features and updates “tools, controls, media and graphics”. “Besides the updates in Expression Blend 3, improvements are made to the XAP compression within the Silverlight tools when creating XAP files. The Eclipse for Silverlight project also announced Mac platform availability for Silverlight development (Silverlight 2).  That’s right.  Silverlight development on the Mac,” announced Tim Heuer.
