Microsoft released an updated Office Communicator Mobile 2007 R2, tailoring the client to the next iteration of the Windows Mobile operating system. The refresh version is currently available to customers running unified communications client for Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2. Microsoft designed Communicator Mobile to integrate seamlessly with Windows Mobile version 6.0 and higher, including 6.1 and the upcoming 6.5 flavor. The software is aimed for Pocket PC and smartphone devices.
