DinnerNow is a fictitious marketplace where customers can order food from local restaurants for delivery to their home or office. DinnerNow is designed to demonstrate how you can develop a connected application using several new Microsoft technologies. It is an open source sample that you can download from codeplex. The 3.0 release of DinnerNow.net is primarily about adding support for new Microsoft updates, bug fixes and some clean up work. Here is a summary of the changes. It supports the following updates from Microsoft: Visual Studio 2008 Service Pack 1 and .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1, Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (32-bit), Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 (32-bit), SQL Server 2005 Express Service Pack 3 (32-bit), Internet Explorer 8 (32-bit)
