Facebook announced begin testing of a new beta version of search functionality that allows people to find content including: status updates, photos, links, videos and notes, by your friends and the Facebook Pages of which you're a fan, as well as from users who’ve decided to share with “everyone”.  Those in the test group will see new layouts for search results that’ll continue to include people's profiles, Facebook Pages, groups and applications, and some entirely new Search features. This functionality is similar to the broadcast power of Twitter.
