According to EA, the games you see coming from them on the Xbox 360 are utilizing the power of the console to its full extent. In other words, you aren’t going to see the graphics get any better from EA’s releases. But the PS3 hardware still has more to offer…”I think that we’ve maxed out the 360 but we haven’t maxed out the PS3,” said Patrick Soderlund. If Soderlund’s comments are correct then over the next couple of years we could start to see a noticeable difference in the graphics and possibly gameplay of releases on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Developers are already reaching the limits of data storage on the 360 due to the use of DVDs. More 360 games in the future are going to come on multiple discs while the PS3 developers have a healthy 50GB to play with on Blu-ray.
