It’s now official, Microsoft will be launching Windows 7 on October 22nd, and this is when, Win7 will be available in stores. Obviously, Release To Manufacturing (RTM) is an important milestone on the path to GA, and the RTM code for Windows 7 is expected to be available sometime in the 2nd half of July. Also expected to be able to make RTM code for Windows Server 2008 R2 available to partners in this time frame as well.
