When you try to install Service Pack 2 of Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008, you receive the following error message: Windows has detected unsupported language files. This issue occurs when you try to install a language version of Windows Vista SP2 or of Windows Server 2008 SP2 that is not supported by the currently installed version of Windows. To work around this issue, use either of  methods: 1. Wait until the additional stand-alone packages for Windows Vista SP2 and for Windows Server 2008 SP2 are available. Then, install the appropriate stand-alone package that contains 36 languages. Or If the default system language is English, German, Spanish, French, or Japanese, you can remove any language packs that are not supported. To remove a language pack from a Windows Vista-based or Windows Server 2008-based computer, follow these steps.
