Microsoft released the gold bits of Zentity version 1.0 (formerly codenamed Famulus), advertised as a collection of building blocks, tools, and services set up to help developers put together and administer a digital library ecosystem. "Zentity" (official name for Research Output Repository Platform) is a semantic store (based on SQL Server 2008 and the Entity-Framework), and includes a ScholarlyWorks application designed to support the current wave of academic digital library and repository projects (e.g. to store people, papers, lectures, people, books, chapters, videos, etc. and a relationships like IsAuthorOf, Presented, Cites, IsCitedBy, etc.).
