Google seems to be testing a new feature that displays product images alongside the snippet of a particular search result. The images in the screenshot are aggregated, resized and lined up alongside the traditional snippet and information on a search result page. A similar feature is available if you click on "search options" and select "images from the page", like in this search for “mouse”. Google will show at most 2 thumbnails next to each search result.
