Yahoo-Newspaper consortium, is where individual papers or newspaper groups are using Yahoo’s ad targeting technology to increase online-only ad sales. Sales are running several million dollars a week; the consortium has sold nearly $50 million in Yahoo inventory so far, with about 150 papers using the platform meant to simplify ad targeting and selling, and another 350 on the way, writes AdAge.
