Possibly the best new feature in Windows 7 is “Play To” feature in Windows Media Player that will automatically find devices on your home network that are Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) compliant (with the digital media renderer role) and allow you to right click photos, videos, recorded TV, or music and send it to another device like a Roku Sound Bridge radio, digital picture frame, or Extender for Windows Media Center (such as Xbox 360) where it will immediately begin playing with full control.

Here’s how it to get it working: Setup a HomeGroup for your PC’s (click start and type homegroup); Step through the obvious check boxes; Open Windows Media Player and under stream click on Allow Remote Control of my Player and Automatically Allow Devices to Play my Media; Step through the obvious check boxes; Now right click on a track or album and select “Play To”
