Microsoft has introduced “Business Value Framework,” at local governments at their third annual Local and Regional Government Solutions Forum, in Bilbao, Spain. The Framework is essentially designed to deliver a three-layer model that bridges technology solutions to published government indicators, and is tailored to the United Kingdom, reveals James Brown, an Industry Technology Strategist (ITS) at Microsoft for the World Wide Public Sector Team (WWPS) focusing on Local and Regional Governments. A beta version has gone online which the UK team will be tweaking over the coming months and there is a more comprehensive offline tool that is going to become available as well.
