Ask.com has partnered with metrics firm Anchor Intelligence for an advertising measurement solution. The partnership will see Anchor Intelligence providing Ask.com with the ability to reduce non-billable traffic so that vertical marketers receive improved performance. Traffic will be scored by ClearMark according to quality; this gives advertising networks and search engines the ability to maximize click values. To do this, Anchor utilizes spam traps, honeypots and stealth service to identify compromised clicks and machines so that malicious use is decreased.
