Microsoft kicks off its ultimate deal campaign with the Ultimate Steal Promotion that is targeting 12 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) and Hispanic student organizations at colleges and universities in the U.S. The campaign was created to offer students attending these institutions opportunities to purchase the Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 Suite at a much discounted price, $59.95 (U.S.) — a discount up to 91 percent from estimated retail price of $679.95 (U.S.) — as well as encourage student-led organizations to become involved with the Ultimate Steal Affiliate Program. Microsoft’s continued commitment to education in diverse communities was the force behind the program.
