Microsoft Technology Centre, UK presented PoC at the Local Authority Urban Interest Conference, a sub group of ITS United Kingdom, and have demonstrated the capability of S+S. They built 3 client applications; As you’d expect, the service layer is WCF, C# and a SQL Server 2008 database.
