If you are using an unlocked Google Android G1 phone, you’ll no more able to access paid apps (copy protected) on it. Google has unceremoniously blocked a large portion of the applications in the Android Market from unlocked G1s. Pilfering free apps from the Android Market via an unlocked G1 took less than 12 hours, allowing users of the unlocked phone to download for-pay apps, copy them to a system folder, and return them for a full refund while still keeping them. In less time, Google has blocked all its protected apps.
