Microsoft announced a worldwide reward of $250,000, or the equivalent sum in local currency to the people for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s), who wrote Conficker. Microsoft has published Conficker-specific information, in addition to its recommendation to apply the patch released specifically to address this vulnerability.
