Ion is a combination of NVIDIA's GeForce 9400M integrated chipset for the Intel platform and includes support for both Intel Core 2 and low power Atom processor technology. NVIDIA has unveiled detailed performance results for the Ion platform and it offers a much needed multimedia performance boost over existing Intel Atom based designs. NVIDIA has given us unfettered access to their tiny, low power, multimedia, all-in-one PC.
