Colaab is an online application that offers businesses real time collaboration tools for their employees. The company is now working on a prototype of their online app which works with Windows Live Mesh. Using the contacts API and accessing content from a user’s Live Folders, the colaab app can run outside the browser after being launched from a desktop shortcut. And when they say “desktop,”  they don’t just mean your computer desktop, but your Windows Live Mesh desktop. That’s because the Colaab mesh app actually installs an icon on the desktop you see when you log in to www.mesh.com.

Once launched, users can access their workspaces, files, and the other online resources found in the application.
