Developers will find that they will no longer come across CAPICOM.dll in the recently launched Microsoft Windows SDK for Windows 7 and .NET Framework 3.5 SP1: BETA, which accompanied the release of the first fully-fledged Beta build of Windows 7 (download link). Microsoft emphasized that the role played by CAPICOM.dll in the software development kit for Windows could be replaced by .NET Framework, Karin Meier, Microsoft program manager, explained.
