If you use Windows Live Messenger and live in Latin America, you can chat /contact with your recruiter on Messenger. Here’s how it works: Candidates who submit their resume to the www.Bumeran.com (the largest job portal in Latin America, who has adopted the Live Messenger control to make job search more dynamic) can now also associate their Bumeran account with their Windows Live ID. Later on, when the recruiters are browsing the resumes and are interested in a candidate, they will see the presence icon next to their profile. And will have the option to start a chat session with the candidate right there on the spot (without the need to be Messenger buddies or know their email addresses).
