Tokyo-based Shogakukan, known for its extensive offerings of manga (Ichi The Killer, Ranma 1/2, Crying Freeman etc) is releasing a virtual sushi guide for iPhone and iPod Touch. The sushi neta zukan (sushi encyclopedia) will become available in within this month on the product website [Japanese] and will cost $5. Shogakukan promises and English version too.

Shogakukan is already offering a special iPhone guide for Japanese mushrooms, covering 50 different kinds. The encyclopedia is Japanese only.
