Google announced the winners of their Code Jam 2008 competition, created by a 20%-time team and that includes 11,000+ contestants, who tackled complex algorithmic challenges. Tiancheng Lou of China took home the $10,000 Grand Prize. Zeyuan Zhu from China won second place, Bruce Merry from the UK came in third, and cash prizes went to the other finalists. Overall, the 100 finalists represented 23 different countries.
