Microsoft Innovation Day declared by San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom

Microsoft and the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring a series of events to recognize the transformative power of technology in today’s society and global economy.

Anthony Salcito, general manager of Education, Microsoft U.S. Public Sector, will speak to 1,000 students about the importance of developing technology skills and future career opportunities.

Microsoft will present hands-on demonstrations of its latest technologies including Microsoft Surface, Microsoft Silverlight, Microsoft Mediaroom, Xbox and new Windows Mobile devices.
