Rackspace Inc acquired Jungle Disk

Jungle Disk announced that the company has been acquired by Rackspace Hosting, Inc. for an undisclosed sum. Once the transaction is complete, Jungle Disk will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Rackspace. Existing customer accounts are likely to be unaffected in the short-term as Jungle Disk will still be offering their Amazon S3 –powered backup solution, as well as a range of offerings from Rackspace.
