AOL addressed to all AOL Hometown and Journal's users that they’re closing their doors and soon they’ll start sending email providing additional information about Hometown/FTP and Journals. Please read the following blog entries to learn more about AOL Hometown/FTP and AOL Journals.
AOL Journals members will be able to migrate to a new service, but AOL Hometown users have been instructed to back-up their files and prepare to go elsewhere. If you plan for self-hosting, I would suggest moving to Media Temple.
