Here’re some details around the Work In Progress VMM Exam 70-403. Microsoft is looking at virtualization in three areas: server, application, and presentation. We've tried to map our exams and certs map along the same lines. (You might find this lame, but this little video thing helped me learn about the different virtualization bits, FYI.)

Summary of the long post that follows:

• There’s a Hyper-V MCTS and a Desktop Optimization MCTS available today and we’re working on an MCTS: VMM.
• No professional (job-role) certifications planned yet – but we’re looking at what that could/should be for operations people and virtualization people
