Windows XP, Server 2003, SMS hotfix KBArticles – Weekly Release (Sep 1- Sep 7)
Last week, 6 Windows Legacy products related hot-fix KB articles were released, including 4 for Windows XP, 1 for Windows Server 2003, 1 for SMS. Below are the details:
Windows XP - 4 KB articles:
- 957218 A username which contains Unicode characters is not handled correctly in Windows XP Service Pack 3 during the EAP authentication
- 956072 Windows XP-based terminal server does not allow RDP connections whose encryption level is set to Low
- 955988 The Win32_Environment WMI class does not return the value of the PATH environment variable if the variable consists of more than 1,024 characters on a Windows XP-based computer
- 955843 An ADO-based application may stop responding when it uses the adAsyncExecute option to open a Recordset object in Windows Server 2003 or in Windows XP
Windows Server 2003 - 1 KB article:
- 953323 Windows Explorer in Windows XP or in Windows Server 2003 leaks handles when you browse shared folders on the remote computers by using network shortcuts
System Management Server - 1 KB article:
- 956465 The SMS_EXECUTIVE service process restarts unexpectedly when a limit is set for the maximum transfer rate between two sites in System Center Configuration Manager 2007
