A member of the Microsoft Update team reports that has been released IE8 Beta 2 to Windows Update, with this move —”uers running Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1 on a Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 system will be able to get IE8 Beta 2 conveniently. The IE8 Beta 2 will be made available to WU users running Windows Vista at a later date.  If you have Automatic Updates turned on, Windows Update will automatically download IE8 Beta 2 and notify you when it is ready for install.  You’ll then have the option to proceed with or postpone installation.
