Hoping to have a strong holiday season following the release of its first big fall title “Too Human”, Microsoft has begun its post-summer marketing push. Thursday in downtown Toronto, Microsoft showcased its diverse collection of holiday Xbox 360 software and Zune wares for press and industry goers with X'08 Canada, the Canadian version of the long-standing "X" exhibition series.
The showcase, which took place at the posh CiRCA nightclub in the heart of the city, reinforced Microsoft's message that a strong season of big games is coming for Xbox 360 owners. Microsoft's first-party games led the show while a hearty number of third-party titles played supporting roles. Electronic Arts, 2K Sports, Activision, Harmonix, Disney, Sega, Ubisoft, Square-Enix, Bethesda, Eidos, and Warner Brothers were all represented on the show floor.
