Microsoft is ready to launch its social bookmarking service for for TechNetExpression and MSDN, which was under testing since May. So that technical professionals can better connect with each other, share knowledge, and succeed.

John Martin says “thousands of technical professionals begun using it to save their web favorites online, share them with others,” and the results so far speak for themselves, as the popular tags on Social Bookmarks include topics like .net, SQL, and visual basic.

Here are some new things to look for in version 1.0:

  • Subscribe to Tags or People
  • Browse & Find Users
  • Import Tools
  • Bookmarking Widget

The September release of the social bookmarking application version 1.0 will be available in  12 Languages: “Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Czech, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish”.
