		<description>This has never been a secret so I am not sure what the &#039;Microsoft Confirmation&#039; is about. :-)   We have communicated through the Windows Server 2008 launch wave that the next version of Windows Server would be our R2 release.

This is keeping with out 2/4 year major/minor release cadence.
