Alessandro Teglia announced the release of MSDN Forum Client July 08 CTP  — “An offline reader for the MSDN Forums: like a newsreader for the newsgroups, this client will let the user access the Forums without accessing them through the web interface. So faster access, easier thread manageability, and many other features. The features included in this CTP are the following:

• Getting the list of available forums
• Subscribing to forums you're interested in
• Manually synchronizing the Question and General Discussion threads in a forum
• Reading posts that have been synchronized
• Hierarchical (threaded) view of conversations
