Microsoft Live Search Webmaster Center Tool is now out of beta, and with it comes several new features that provide webmasters and SEO workers more information about how Live Search is crawling and indexing their sites, as well as a few features to make the data more actionable in optimizing their sites on Live Search.

First among the new features is the “Crawl Issue,” that allow webmasters to be able to discover potential issues affecting their site, you can find four types of issues, that the Webmaster Tools encounter when crawling your sites:

  • File Not Found (404)
  • Blocked by REP
  • Long Dynamic URLs
  • Unsupported Content-Types

For each issue, the Webmaster Tools will return the URL and the data where it last encountered the error.

Webmaster Tools also enhanced their backlink data tool giving webmasters access to more data about their referring links. In addition, they’ve made the data more interactive by allowing data filtering and data downloading.
