IBM Pensieve: A human memory backup software

To help people remember key facts, IBM unveiled a software technology created in its Research Labs that uses the images, sounds, and text recorded on everyday mobile devices to help people recall names, faces, conversations and other important information. The software dubbed as “PENSIEVE” uses associative recall to make connections between pieces of related data acquired by a person.

Buffalo readies 32GB, 64GB SSDs for Asus Eee PC 901

IEEE finalizes FireWire 3200, USB 3.0 will be faster

The IEEE recently approved IEEE 1394-2008, a faster version of FireWire used for connecting PCs with digital video devices or external hard drives.
