Virtual Earth: 14.3 TB new July Imagery, lead for Australia
Microsoft released 14.3 TB of new imagery for Virtual Earth. New imagery has been added for the United States, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. New Bird’s Eye imagery became available for North America and various countries in Europe.
On the other hand, Virtual Earth has a new Lead for Australia, Peter Ulm, who’s been with Microsoft for over a decade, most recently as the strategic account manager for one of Microsoft Australia’s largest accounts. He previously worked in sales and marketing at Dow Jones.
