Remember the open source community touting the 'OpenMoko' neo1973 handset as their answer to the proprietary Apple iPhone throughout last year. Well almost a year has passed and there has been quite some movement on the device, but unfortunately it is neither looking like an equivalent to the iPhone, nor an iPhone killer - as the following videos show.

Hopefully the competition heats up soon, but at the moment it still looks like iPhone is the phone to beat. Even with its own bugs.
