Following the heels release of Windows Home Server Power Pack 1 RTM, HP have also released their long-awaited update for the HP MediaSmart Server, which brings:

• PacketVideo PVConnect DLNA-compliant media streaming
• x64 support (following installation of PP1)
• Mcafee Total Security Trial

The software update is now available via an automatic update, or you can select “Check for Updates” in the Windows Home Server console. If you didn’t received automatic update, and are having difficulties initiating the upgrade, check out Alex’s thread over at mediasmartserver.net for a possible resolution.
