Do you run your home server 24/7? If you do, you are probably wasting a whole bunch of CPU cycles and energy. There’re plenty of technology available to reduce carbon, for e.g. on AMD powered WHS, you can enable AMD’s Cool‘n’Quiet technology in the BIOS to reduce energy footprint, but that would still left wasting a bunch of CPU cycles.

Apple has released 2.0 version of the iPhone firmware, while both the AppleTV and and iTunes see updates to support new functionality.

Some 4.5 million Windows Mobile shipped during the year's first quarter, up 1.8 million year-over-year, according to IDG figures cited by Microsoft's top Windows Mobile executive, Andy Lees. Apple, meanwhile, sold only 1.8 million iPhones according to IDG's figures for the same quarter, Lees claimed.
