Sony has released two new TP1 model Media Centers. The VGX-TP1DQ/B and the VGX-TP1D are the latest entry-level additions to Sony’s VAIO TP Home Theater PC line which are best known for their diminutive footprint and distinctive circular shape reminiscent of an over-sized hockey puck.

The VGX-TP1D is white and packs a 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo T8100 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 320 GB hard drive and a dual-layer DVD burner. The VGX-TP1DQ/B trades up for black, a 500 GB hard drive, and Blu-ray. Both models also use the Nvidia 8400M GT graphics card which will provide full acceleration for Vista Media Center and HD playback.
