Emil Protalinski reports that Microsoft has updated Silverlight Streaming by Windows Live (SLS) to support the latest Silverlight 2 beta 2 version. SLS, which is a complementary service to Silverlight that allows developers and designers to host and stream their Microsoft Silverlight applications. The free service, which offers 10GB of hosting, is still in beta form and is not yet feature-complete. This update also effects the PhotoZoom service, which allows you to implement Deep Zoom technology in Silverlight 2 Beta 2 to create photo albums with user uploaded photographs, via a web UI – Microsoft does all the processing for you.
