For those of you who frequently save documents in PDF format, Google is adding a new file system support for “PDF” files to their Google Docs. A PDF icon is available and can be seen if you go to the link. Additionally, if you go to http://docs.google.com/#pdfs, you’ll get a message saying there are No PDFs as shown in the image below. This has to mean they are preparing for them. Google already has a good PDF viewer in Google Book Search and Google Patent Search.
