Microsoft is currently testing a beta of a video website, built using Silverlight called “Microsoft Videos”. The video website is a dedicated central point for Microsoft Videos is your central location for viewing rich media from Microsoft. You can scan quick picks for the latest videos, enter a search, or choose from video categories. Full marks goes for including RSS feeds for searches, for example this feed for Windows Live.

Microsoft Silverlight required: To use the player on this site you need to install the free Microsoft Silverlight plug-in.

While content is US only at the moment, the About page explains that they hope to add more content from other Microsoft offices around the world. Lets just hope they stick to the informative videos and less of the viral marketing!
