HP released an update for the HP MediaSmart Server to the Web, which brings new, DLNA-complaint media streaming and anti-virus capabilities to the home server, along with a suite of bug-fixes for HP’s own add-ins.
The following new (optional) add-ins are included:
- PVConnect Media Streaming
- McAfee Server-side AntiVirus
along with improvements to:
- HP Photo Webshare
- iTunes Media Aggregator
- Client software for x64 Windows Vista (note, this alone does not make WHS x64 compatible at this point - you will need to wait for Power Pack 1 for this)
