Harald Kirschner has released a new version of “FancyUpload” — Swiff meets Ajax for powerful and elegant uploads. FancyUpload is a file-input replacement which features an unobtrusive, multiple-file selection menu and queued upload with an animated progress bar. It is easy to setup, is server independent, completely styleable via CSS and XHTML and uses MooTools to work in all modern browsers.

Very nice! I have always found the built-in browser capabilities for file uploads lacking. Particularly, the omission of a progress bar can lead to impatient users leaving the page if they find it unresponsive during file uploads. Being a huge MooTools fan, it's wonderful to see extensions like this.
