Now that Exchange Server 2007 SP1 is available, I thought I'd demonstrate installing Cluster Continuous Replication on Windows Server 2008. As stated by Scott Schnoll in the blog post, Windows Server 2008 includes a number of improvements and enhancements that can directly benefit servers running Exchange 2007 SP1. Exchange 2007 SP1 also includes support for geographically dispersed clusters for failover across two subnets. This video demonstration is split into 2 parts. The first part discusses creating and configuring the cluster and the second part talks about Clustered Mailbox Server Installation and Configuration.

Note: Deployment of CCR on Windows 2008 can be done via the command line or GUI.  The commands can be added into a script and the deployment can be automated. While installing through the command line interface makes the whole process quite a bit shorter and simpler, I wanted to demo the wizard driven deployment for those that want to choose it. Please see the following post on the details on how to install from command line:

One thing I wanted to clarify about the second video, where Exchange 2007 SP1 prerequisites for installation are discussed:

Only the "Active Directory Domain Services Tools [RSAT-ADDS]" pre-req is needed to satisfy Exchange Server 2007 SP1 prerequisites for CCR/SCC installation:
