The HP Pavilion dv3000 entertainment notebook PCs are the smallest mobile offerings in HP's portfolio. Comprised in a 13.3-inch form factor, the dv3000 is a miniaturized version of Hewlett-Packard's previous 14.1-inch dv2000 model. The sexy notebook blends ultra-portability with powerful computing capabilities, convenient security and multimedia features under a single elegant black casing.

The HP Pavilion dv3000 Entertainment Notebook PC comes with the discrete Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS graphics chip that powers the 13.3-inch wide-screen display based on HP BrightView technology. The dv3000 sports a HDMI interface that allows enthusiasts to connect it to any high-definition LCD display equipped with an identical input.

Under the sleek hood, users will find a 2.5GHz T9300 Penryn Core 2 Duo, 2GB of system RAM, a dual-layer DVD burner, an 160 GB conventional hard-disk drive to meet your storage needs, and a less-encountered combo USB / eSATA port for the next generation of storage devices.

Other technical specifications include a built-in low-light VGA camera for videoconferencing or video chatting, as well as a fingerprint sensor and HP 3D Drive Guard, that represents the signature of a business-oriented notebook PC. Another interesting addition is the introduction of the ExpressCard mini remote control that allows users to easily access the notebook's multimedia features from a respectable distance.
