With Techfest just a couple of days away, I caught up with Rico Malvar, the managing director of Microsoft research and ask him about the history of MSR, some interesting projects coming out at Techfest later this week including projects like contextual search and WorldWide Telescope, and how he sees technology evolving in the future.
